"I want to know God's thoughts; the rest are details." - Albert Einstein
At Life Choices Institute our philosophy is this. . .
While many paths are traveled . . .Few are truly understood. We seek to shed a light of understanding, for those who are seeking along their chosen path.
"It seems that whenever we push the envelope - that which is known - we discover more of what we seem to be drawn to from 'the other side'".
I, have been practicing meditating for the past thirty-eight years, after having first discovering its benifits during a summer "retreat and self-exploration" program offered to college age persons. I was so taken by my own, and the personal discoveries of my fellow explorers that for me it has become a lifelong endeavor and indeed a pleasure. During those early times, after days filled with studies, I would meditate before listening to pre-recorded discussions and lectures by Dr. Allen Watts on psychology and it's connection to spirituality, as well as other lecture subjects on a late-night radio program. I filled my head and heart by reading works by C. Jung, J. Hillerman, His Holiness, The Dalai Lama, and a host of other Schollars.
Today, after several years of studying the many Buddhist and Yogic practices on the subject, I facilitate guided and non-guided meditation sessions in conjunction with my current practice in Holistic Family Counseling. I strive to render assistance to as many of my clients as I can as they become accepting of the idea of meditation. If there is still confusion and hesitation, I assist them in desiding which path feels right for their current stage of growth and acceptence; furthering their process of healing and self-discovery. I feel ecstatic and honored to participate in this "The Grand Experiment"; for there will always be new and exciting things to discover and explore.
I have rediscovered hypnosis as a practitoner (I was first introduced to it under treatment, as a child.) as a working tool.
The discovery continues, yet again my life takes on a new dimension!
